The new BERNEXPO festival hall will become the heart of the Ride for Life on May 30, 2026. This is where the bike rides start, where encounters take place, where life pulsates. A spacious area that creates room for everyone - for those who ride, for those who celebrate, for those who simply want to be there.

Roll gently out into the countryside, take a deep breath, arrive. The Herzrunde leads through quiet neighborhoods and open fields around Bern - a route that gives you space. For all those who want to take it easy and enjoy the landscape. Not long, but deep.
Out of the city, up to the Bantiger. The hopeful loop leads through forests and over hills, past farms and wide fields. Anyone who rides here senses that something is still possible. A route that opens up the horizon - in the truest sense of the word.
The Lindental, the hills, the long straights - the Mutrunde challenges and rewards you with one of the most beautiful landscapes in the Bernese Mittelland. Anyone who rides this route shows perseverance. Exactly what people with cancer need every day. This tour is for them.
Together We Ride. Three words. One promise. On May 30, 2026, the road through seven municipalities will become the longest solidarity chain in Switzerland. On two wheels, with one goal: to show that no one has to be alone with cancer.
The question is not whether you are fit enough. The question is: who are you riding for? And how do you ride? Six ways to be part of the movement. As a Single Rider, Team of Friends, Business Team, Club Team, in the Kids4Kids race, in the Heartbeat Ride for All. Because solidarity knows no prerequisites. And you are part of it.
Over 4.2 million francs of hope
Since 2010, together we have raised over 4.2 million francs for people with cancer. These funds go to our partner organizations, which provide help where it is most urgently needed: In research that makes a cure possible. In studies that improve therapies. In the support of children and families. And in exchanges that support survivors
From the study to life
Tomorrow's therapies are tested here today. Independent, scientifically excellent, directly on people. So that patients get better chances faster.
Where courage meets science
Innovative research needs courage - for unconventional approaches, for young researchers, for ideas that could one day defeat cancer. The Swiss Cancer Foundation makes exactly that possible.
Where relief is given space
Allani gives children and young people with a life-limiting or life-threatening illness and their families time to take a deep breath. In a protected, natural environment, allani combines professional care with individual support.
The Ride for Life Association is the organizational and conceptual home of the project.

What we want:
In 2010, the Race for Life was held on the Gotthard Pass for the first time - as a small, courageous sign of solidarity with people living with cancer.
Since then, the Race for Life has written countless stories: of people with cancer who have found strength and hope. Of relatives who have been supported and carried. Of family members and friends we have lost. And of countless supporters who have shown how much an idea can make a difference.
Something new has grown out of this Race for Life movement: the Ride for Life Association. It takes the original idea further - and makes it bigger, deeper and more effective.
Ride for Life is much more than just an event today. It is an organization that, together with its partners, is directly committed to the concerns of people with cancer and their families - with concrete support, encounters, music, dance, movement and genuine sympathy.
Ride for Life is more than just an event. It is a movement of courage, closeness and solidarity. And this movement grows with every person who gets involved. Because community is created where people become active. Whether on a bike, in conversation, as a volunteer or as a partner - every gesture counts.
