Your briefing for the big day

Everything you need to know

Register, set up a fundraising page, choose a route and set off. Sounds easy - and it is. Here you will find everything you need to know so that only one thing counts on May 30, 2026: Pedal, enjoy the program, celebrate life.

How to register

Registration & entry fee

Register using the registration button - as a single rider or as a team captain. Registration takes five minutes.

What does participation cost?
CHF 50 per rider. Children and young people up to 16 years: free of charge. Company teams: collective registration and collective invoice on request - registration@rideforlife.ch
Teams
2-7 riders per team. A team captain creates the team and invites the members. If the team is full, a second captain can form a second team.
What is included in the entry fee?
Start number with digital lap measurement, medical care on site, bike repair service, bike parking.
Make your fundraising page personal

Your fundraiser

After registering, you will receive your own fundraising page. The more personal, the more effective. Our tips:

Design an attractive fundraising page
Upload a picture of yourself, your team or the person you ride for. Max. 2 MB, format JPG or PNG.
Tell your story
Two or three sentences are enough. Why are you riding? For whom? This is more moving than any factual formulation such as «simply doing good».
Set a donation target
Experience: CHF 300-500 per driver is easily achievable. The target is a motivation, a target figure, but not a requirement.
Collect donations
Share your fundraising page via email, WhatsApp or social media. Your community can donate as a lump sum or per lap ridden.
Tax deductible
All donations to the Ride for Life association are tax deductible. Donors receive an official tax receipt.
Where do your donations go?
Swiss Cancer Institute (national clinical cancer research), Swiss Cancer Foundation (innovative cancer research projects) and allani Children's Hospice Bern (for children and families). Your donations are used to realize valuable projects for people with cancer and to promote cancer research in Switzerland.
You decide which route you take on site
